About
"Disciple of Shri Vishwanatham, Pt. Arvind Mulgaonkar, and currently guided by Pt. Umesh Moghe."
A seasoned tabla professional with over 12 years of immersive training in the Guru-Shishya parampara. A national gold medalist and internationally acclaimed performer, Raghavendra brings the depth of Indian classical percussion to stages around the world — both as a solo artist and as an accompanist. He is also the founder of Aananta Mandal and Bhakti — initiatives that bridge Indian classical rhythm with world music and devotional expression.
Worked with the Department of Language & Culture in Telangana and Sri Mamidi Harikrishna Garu on cultural initiatives. Curating bespoke musical experiences for distinguished gatherings and refined celebrations.
Each performance is shaped like a living composition, attuned to the stature and emotional pulse of the occasion. Whether within the warmth of a private family celebration, the quiet grandeur of a distinguished gathering, or the refined elegance of a wedding soirée, he weaves rhythm into the very fabric of the moment.
Founded Aananta Nādam (2023) — where classical meets cosmic. A live instrumental experience that takes the audience on a sonic journey through the Pancha Bhoothas (five elements): from the grounding pulse of Prithvi to the flowing surrender of Jala, the transformative intensity of Agni, the expansive breath of Vayu, and finally into the infinite silence of Akasha. Music offered as a path to peace and inner well-being.
Internationally, partnered with musicians from Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Hawaii, Ukraine, and Russia — creating cross-cultural experiences that blend Indian classical rhythm with global music traditions on stages worldwide.
Tabla instructor at Isha Samskriti (2022–2023), a residential gurukul founded under the vision of Sadhguru. Mentored young students with emphasis on technique, balancing classical repertoire with individualized learning rooted in yogic values.
A first-of-its-kind bhajan jamming collective born in Hyderabad — bringing together some of the city's finest musicians for spontaneous, soulful sessions that reimagine devotional music. Part prayer, part performance, fully immersive.
